Bethel Braces For First Snowfall This Evening
Amidst the heated political debates taking place on various news websites comes a chill for the fall– possibly the first snow of the season. Shawn Clifford, co-owner of True Value Hardware in Dolan Plaza, said they are ready for whatever Mother Nature may bring. He was busy putting out shovels and other snow-related items early Thursday afternoon.
“Last year was so bad that people may want to stock up,” he said. “We have everything they will need; shovels, salt, sand. We will be getting in another larger shipment soon.”
True Value is now offering a $5 off of a $25. Click here to get yours!
Hollandia Nurseries is also bracing for the cold as they prepare to close down their Old Hawleyville store for the season. Workers were busy Wednesday moving seasonal inventory to their nearby Stony Hill Road location.
While school children should not get their hopes up too high for a delay or school closing tomorrow morning, parents and Bethel residents should prepare for a chilly evening with a messy commute.
