BIOGRAPHICAL DATA: Charles M. Intrieri Consulting
Charles (Chuck) Intrieri has established himself as a Production/Manufacturing and Distribution/Warehouse Operations professional with over 20 years of Supply Chain and Materials Management hands-on experience with such companies as General Binding Corporation (GBC), Schwinn Bicycle Co., Garden Way, Inc. (“Troy-Bilt” Roto-Tillers), and Jovan Cosmetics.
While directing/managing the Supply Chain departments of these companies, Chuck introduced Value Analysis, Cost Reduction techniques, and Vendor Scheduling for JIT. He also was the Project Leader for the successful implementation of the ERP system at GBC in a short 14 months, and introduced the benefits of ERP and Total Quality Management (TQM) while Director of Materials Management at Garden Way in Troy, NY.
In 1992, Chuck founded Charles M. Intrieri Consulting, as a sole proprietor, implementing WORLD CLASS MANUFACTURING and DISTRIBUTION OPERATIONS techniques such as 3PL, Kanban, Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri, techniques along with 5S implementations, Supply Chain Management, Total Warehouse Management, World Class Distribution Management, MRP II/ERP (Baan, Oracle, MSA, JDE, and SAP), Re-engineering techniques, Daily Continuous Improvement (TTI Analysis), Six Sigma (Green Belt), and Total Quality Management. Chuck has improved inventory records accuracy to 98-100% accuracy with metrics in each company so they could eliminate their physical inventories and his expertise with Lean Manufacturing implementations has also been a successful part of Chuck’s career. Chuck has managed 3PL (Third Part Logistics) for clients .

His last consulting in Arizona was for Maricopa County Facilities Management, Good Will Industries, PING GOLF Manufacturing, and Valley of the Sun School.
Mr. Intrieri received his BA from the Business School at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL after receiving his AA Degree from Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California. He is certified as a C.P.M. (Purchasing), CPIM (Production/ Inventory Management), Supply Chain Manager, VE (Value Engineer for Guaranteed Cost Reduction), Kanban/Kaizen and Six Sigma implementations.
Chuck enjoys teaching and mentoring clients as well as implementing concepts rather than writing a consulting report and leaving the implementation to the client. Chuck is a hands-on consultant. He will work the current company system before recommending new ideas to improve processes. Chuck believes that Inventory Records Accuracy and Bill of Material Accuracy must be 98-100% accurate before an ERP system will function effectively.
